3. Scope of Services

Secnuo provides professional cybersecurity services including but not limited to:

Source Code Security Analysis including Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Software Composition Analysis (SCA) to identify vulnerabilities within application code and third-party libraries.

Advanced Security Testing Services such as Red Teaming exercises, phishing simulations, social engineering assessments, and adversary attack simulations.

Cybersecurity Strategy and Governance including risk assessments, cybersecurity roadmap development, governance, risk and compliance (GRC) implementation, and regulatory alignment.

Compliance Readiness and Security Audits supporting frameworks and standards including ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST, and other global cybersecurity and privacy regulations.

Cloud Security Services including cloud security posture assessments, configuration reviews, DevSecOps security implementation, and cloud compliance advisory.

Identity and Access Management (IAM) consulting, design, implementation, and integration of identity governance, authentication systems, and privileged access management.

Cyber Incident Response and Digital Forensics including incident investigation, malware analysis, breach assessment, containment, and recovery support.

Managed Security Services including Security Operations Center (SOC), threat monitoring, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and continuous security operations.

Data Protection and Privacy Programs including privacy risk assessments, data protection frameworks, regulatory compliance support, and privacy governance implementation.

Cybersecurity Compliance Support for Financial Ecosystems, including advisory and security readiness for Payment Aggregators (PA), Payment Gateways (PG), and Prepaid Payment Instruments (PPI) regulatory compliance requirements.

All services are delivered according to the mutually agreed scope, timeline, and deliverables defined in the project proposal, engagement letter, or Statement of Work (SoW).

4. Authorization for Security Testing

By engaging Secnuo for security testing services, the client confirms that:

  • They own the systems, applications, or infrastructure being tested, or
  • They have obtained explicit written permission from the system owner.

Security testing may involve simulated cyberattacks and vulnerability scanning that could impact system performance. Clients acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with such testing.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information required for service delivery
  • Provide necessary credentials, access, and permissions
  • Ensure proper backups of systems prior to security testing
  • Notify relevant stakeholders about planned security assessments
  • Comply with applicable cybersecurity and data protection regulations

Failure to provide required information or access may affect project timelines and deliverables.

6. Confidentiality

Due to the sensitive nature of cybersecurity engagements:

Secnuo agrees to:

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client systems, data, and vulnerabilities
  • Use client information solely for the purpose of delivering agreed services
  • Protect client information with appropriate security controls

Clients also agree not to disclose Secnuo’s proprietary:

  • methodologies
  • testing frameworks
  • reports
  • tools or intellectual property

without written consent.

7. Payment Terms

Service fees will be outlined in the project proposal or service agreement.

Typical payment terms may include:

  • Advance payment or project initiation fee
  • Remaining payment upon delivery of services
  • Additional charges for extended scope or re-testing services

Late payments may result in suspension of services or delayed delivery of reports.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • All methodologies, tools, frameworks, and intellectual property used during engagements remain the property of Secnuo.
  • Clients receive a limited, non-transferable license to use security reports for internal business purposes.

Security reports may not be redistributed publicly without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

While Secnuo strives to deliver high-quality cybersecurity services, security assessments cannot guarantee complete protection against all cyber threats.

Therefore:

  • Secnuo does not guarantee that all vulnerabilities will be identified
  • Secnuo is not responsible for system downtime, data loss, or financial damages resulting from security testing activities
  • Our total liability shall be limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement

Cybersecurity compliance and assessments reduce risk but cannot fully eliminate the possibility of cyber incidents.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Secnuo, its directors, employees, consultants, and partners against any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • misuse of our services
  • unauthorized testing requests
  • breach of these Terms
  • violation of applicable laws or regulations

11. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement:

  • By written notice
  • If there is a breach of these Terms
  • Upon completion of the agreed services

Upon termination:

  • All outstanding payments become immediately due
  • Secnuo may suspend or terminate services where required
